Prevent Foreclosure
with Creative Loss Mitigation

Hi! This is Tabatha from Tulsa Oklahoma and after resigning to the idea that we were going to lose our home, I actually happened upon an online discussion regarding the differences between FFPS and a competitor. Now, I was actually looking for a work-at-home opportunity and I decided to contact Donna Atwater through the forum. After emailing back and forth, explaining to her my own hopeless situation, she asked me if I would allow her to review our case and see if there was anything FFPS could do.

I wasn't enthusiastic about the idea of getting my hopes up, but since it didn't cost anything for her to just look things over, I agreed. So Donna let me know that same day that we were actually in a better financial situation and that she and Renae didn't see any reason why they couldn't persuade our mortgage company to accept a work-out deal.

Since I had already tried to work with the mortgage company's loss mitigation department on my own, I had little faith that they would be willing to work with us. I mean sure, our income had changed, but would they consider us considering we were now well over a year behind? We had been fighting for extensions with the help of a local lawyer, but could FFPS get through all the paperwork before our house went to auction?

I am happy to say that the answer is YES! We received notice of the auction on February 19th and that dated the auction for March 27th. While it's been a scary ordeal and we had to scramble a little for the whole amount, my husband, Steve and I, sent the money to our mortgage company and STOPPED THE FORECLOSURE just 6 days before the auction.

So I firmly believe that God put me in touch with Donna and FFPS, because I know that without Donna's encouragement, I would not have even tried to fight any more. I am thankful to Donna and everyone at FFPS for fighting for me, and with me, to help our family keep our home and not just try to sell it out from under us.

I encourage anyone who is dealing with foreclosure do your research and check out all the options. Verify the stories and claims and then call FFPS. It's money well spent and run by people who care about every single case. I knew exactly who I'd be talking to, who would be dealing with my case and I never had to go through some stupid automation just to get to a real live person.

So I just want to say again, thank you Donna, thank you Renae and Jennifer, and thank you to EVERYONE at FFPS for your faith and hard work and saving our home.
